Student Software Developer

Grow your technical skills while improving core systems and processes in a professional scale-up

Are you a software engineering student who wants more than just a typical student job?
Do you want hands-on experience with system development, integrations, and IT operations — and the opportunity to develop professionally alongside experienced colleagues?

At DYNACAP, we are looking for a Student Software Developer who wants to grow technically while contributing to the development and operation of our internal systems. You will work closely with the CTO and gain real insight into how software and IT support a growing business.

Key Responsibilities

As our Student Software Developer, you will:

  • Develop and maintain internal systems and tools

  • Build and improve integrations between internal and external systems

  • Advise the CTO on technical recommendations and development priorities, based on your analyses and learnings

  • Support administration of internal systems, including configuration, access control, and documentation

  • Provide IT sparring to our facility management regarding office IT setup

  • Coordinate and communicate with our external IT partner (computers, network, and infrastructure)

You will start with well-defined tasks and gradually take on more complex and independent responsibilities as your skills and confidence grow.

Professional Development

This role is designed as a learning-focused student position with clear opportunities for development. You can expect to:

  • Work on real production systems, not theoretical or isolated tasks

  • Learn how internal systems are designed, integrated, and scaled in practice

  • Develop skills in system architecture, APIs, integrations, and operations

  • Gain experience in technical decision-making and prioritisation

  • Receive ongoing sparring and feedback from the CTO

  • Build a strong foundation for a future role as a software engineer or systems specialist

For the right candidate, there is potential to expand responsibilities over time and potentially continue in a full-time role after graduation.

Who You Are

We imagine that you:

  • Are currently studying Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field e.g. at DTU, ITU, or DIKU

  • Are on the final year of your Bachelor’s degree or first year of your Master’s

  • Have solid programming fundamentals and a strong interest in systems and integrations

  • Are motivated to learn and take ownership of your professional development

  • Can work independently and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience with integrations, APIs, cloud platforms, or system administration is an advantage — but curiosity and willingness to learn are more important.

What We Offer

At DYNACAP, you will get:

  • A 20-hour per week student position with flexibility around exams and studies

  • A clear focus on learning and professional development

  • Close collaboration and mentoring from the CTO

  • Real responsibility and meaningful tasks — not just “student work”

  • Increasing responsibility as your skills develop

  • A young, ambitious, and professional work environment

  • Modern office facilities and a supportive team culture

  • A competitive student salary
