Tool Grinding Technician - CNC

We offer quality bespoke manufactured tooling and our unique RE-NEW™ tool regrinding service, all from our modern production facility in Lichfield. Job Overview Joining our existing team of skilled engineers, you will be required to work within our CNC department manufacturing & refurbishing cutting tools for tier 1 suppliers. Full training will be provided, however an understanding/experience in the use of CNC machines is essential.

Job Overview

Joining our existing team of skilled engineers you will be required to manufacture & refurbish cutting tools using 5 axis CNC grinding equipment.

Skills & Experience required:

You must have experience of working within a similar manufacturing environment with 5 axis CNC machining (min 2-3yrs)
Min level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or recognised time served apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline.
Experience of running Numroto software preferred
You must be familiar with the use of inspection equipment
You must be able to interpret engineering drawings
Able to problem solve with great attention to detail

Personal Profile:

You need to be a self-driven individual, a natural forward planner who is able to organise your workload to meet deadlines.

It is essential that you posses a high degree of self management, initiative and are happy to work without direct supervision. You will need to be enthusiastic with a desire to learn and have proven high standards to match our quality expectations. Own transport is desirable due to location.

Working hours: 36.58.hours per week morning and afternoon shifts
