Job Overview Joining our existing team of skilled engineers, you will be required to work within our CNC department manufacturing & refurbishing cutting tools for tier 1 suppliers. Full training will be provided, however an understanding/experience in the use of CNC machines is essential.

Job Overview

Joining our existing team of skilled engineers you will be required to manufacture & refurbish cutting tools using 5 axis CNC grinding equipment.

 

Skills & Experience required:

  • You must have experience of working within a similar manufacturing environment with 5 axis CNC machining (min 2-3yrs)
  • Min level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or recognised time served apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline.
  • Experience of running Numroto software preferred
  • You must be familiar with the use of inspection equipment
  • You must be able to interpret engineering drawings
  • Able to problem solve with great attention to detail
 

Personal Profile:

You need to be a self-driven individual, a natural forward planner who is able to organise your workload to meet deadlines.

It is essential that you posses a high degree of self management, initiative and are happy to work without direct supervision. You will need to be enthusiastic with a desire to learn and have proven high standards to match our quality expectations.  Own transport is desirable due to location.

Working hours:     36.58.hours per week  morning and afternoon shifts
